@whatsbrewinguk if your ever get the urge to do an all grain, i’d be more than willing to bring my kit over, try before you buy sort of thing, check out the worchester hop shop, he’s put together some nice all grain kits, nicely priced too

@TheJustbri Hi mate…Just in Sunderland…been looking at your all grain vids…very impressed…i’ll have to get the gear and we’ll have to get together and do a all grain batch.

  3. TheJustbri

looks like a nice brew mate, keep us updated on the taste, you sound fairly local to me (newcastle), where ya from?

@chrisftw92 Thanks Chris – dry malt is not the easiest to dissolve, however pouring it into cold water means you don’t get it clinging on the bag and with a bit heat added it just dissolve’s by itself…however I’ll give this a try …keep the tips coming… I’m just a learner ;)

Watching this on my tv with the surround sound on. I thought my washing machine had turned itself on.
When I add drymalt extract I find that pouring it with the dextrose into the fermenter and adding abit of water at a time while mixing it turns it into a paste. after that just adding boiling water turns it into a liquid without clumps.

@Szlyynaa Thanks for the input….i edit out most of my stirring as 2 minutes of stirring the wert is a bit boring…but i do add the water from a good hight and this really helps.

  7. Szlyynaa

Quick tip; Try to stir the worth more to oxygenate it. Oxygen is really healthy for the yeast.

Thanks for nice vids btw. Keep the good work up! :)

@whatsbrewinguk it is haha i did 2 extract brews and then koved onto mini all grain batches you know like 1 gallon batches then went the whole 5 gallons it can set you back a few quid more though

  9. whatsbrewinguk

@TheAceMcAce – Thanks for that tip….next time i do a single can kit i’ll try it and i’ll make sure you get a mention :-)

@DevonHomeBrew Hi Matey, moving onto two can kits then after that going mini mash then eventually all grain…hopefully doing videos of my journey …..finding videos of uk brewers is a real hard find.

Quick tip for you about dried malt. The easiest way to do these kits is to add all dry ingredients into the bottom of your Fermenting bucket first, then add the 2L of boiled water on top. Pick up the bucket, and swirl round and round in your hands. Should dissolve pretty sharpish with little or no clumping.

Nice brewing videos man, keep it up, have you ever considered going all grain or atleast mini-mash style of brewing.

  32. madtownmadman

Fuckin hippy. This guy isn’t nearly man enough to drink beer. His own suggestions cause you to think he would be against brewing all together, for the mere Co2 created during fermentation of wort. Due up: a video with this fucker suggesting commercial breweries label list the Co2 emitted during the production of every 12 oz beer.

  33. Stonebrews

Liquor license, permit .. same thing. You cant sell homebrew without a permit.

  34. duskwalker2

What Uncle Sam doesn’t know won’t hurt him…

  36. housemonzter

    Coperate brewing= shitty pilsners
Homebrewing/ craft brewing= good beer FOR ONCE!
